In general, in an escape game the players evolve in a constrained and thematic environment. To escape or accomplish a task, they must solve a series of puzzles within a set time frame. In short, it’s a game similar to Fort Boyard, but without the physical demands.
How many people are allowed to play ?
With your friends, family or co-workers, you can participate in the escape game. Although it is possible to play with two or even many more players, teams usually consist of three to six players. You can find out more here. Even if your team consists of fewer players than the maximum allowed in the room when you book an escape game, the entire room is usually reserved for your group. However, this is not the case in all countries. If a room is set up for five people and you arrive with three, it is possible that two more people will join your team.
How long does an escape game last ?
Most escape games can only last 60 minutes, but there are exceptions. For example, a game can last 45, 75 or 90 minutes. There are no limits; in France, there is even a 20-hour escape game in the woods! You will have up to an hour to escape the room if the booked escape game is 60 minutes long, but if your team is talented, you can certainly accomplish this task faster.
